Key search terms

Note: Below is an example of some key search terms and their definitions that may be used when searching for job aids. Other search terms may also be used.

Accruals: Accruals are time off entitlement amounts in hours that an associate has, commonly referred to as paid time off (e.g. Vacation).

Historical Edit: A line manager approved correction made to a previously processed timecard (e.g. Forgot to enter Vacation in a previous pay period).

MyTime: This is the Mars time and attendance system powered by Kronos.

Paycodes: Codes that allow payments or allocate hours to associates for exceptions or non-worked time or when unable to use the time clocks to punch (e.g. Vacation time or Company Business)

Time Off Request: An electronic way to enter time away from work.

Dataview: A DataView enables you to create different views of the data stored in a DataTable.

Timecard: A view of the punches and paycodes used to record an associate’s start time, end time and time away from work and any exceptions.

Schedule: Assigned start and end times for when an associate will be working.

Exception: A red or colored symbol next to a cell in a timecard indicates an exception, such as a late punch in. If you move the mouse over the symbol, a message provides more information.
