Retail – Posting a Schedule
How to electronically post and manage a schedule.
Go to: Main Menu > Schedule > Schedule–Planner Retail
Note: When a schedule is electronically posted, all associates within the site have visibility to their schedules. An unposted schedule does not allow visibility to associates to see shifts or work in progress.
Quick Post
Note: You must be in a location (not a hyperfind) to post a schedule.
- When a schedule is complete, use the ‘Tools’ dropdown.
- Select the ‘Quick Post’ option to electronically post the schedule.
Note: This option will post all locations currently selected.
Managing a Posted Schedule
Note: This option may be used to post specific locations in lieu of using ‘Quick Post’ to post all locations currently selected.
- If a specific location posting needs to be managed, use the ‘Tools’ dropdown.
- Select the ‘Manage Schedule Posting’ option.
- Use the ‘Status’ dropdown to select either ‘Posted’ or ‘Unposted’ to see the corresponding locations.
- If a schedule needs to be unposted, highlight the applicable location(s).
- Select ‘Unpost’.
Note: Once a schedule is unposted, associates will no longer have visibility to their shifts. To return visibility, the schedule must be reposted.
Notify Employees
- If a previously posted schedule is altered for any reason, employees must be notified of the change(s).
- Use the ‘Tools’ dropdown.
- Select the ‘Notify Employees’ option.
- You will receive a warning message, confirm that you would like to notify applicable employees.
