Retail - Time Off Request
This job aid outlines the process to request time off from the tile on your homepage.
Time Off Request From the Homepage
- From the bottom of the tile, select the ‘Advanced Options’.
- Select the type of time off requested (Typically Retail Vacation).
- Select the date(s).
Note: You cannot select days that are grayed out on the calendar.
- In ‘Duration’ enter the number of hours you would like to use per day.
- Select ‘Review’ or ‘Submit’.
Additional Processes
- The top half of the tile on the home screen is not applicable to retail. You must select ‘Advanced Options’ to get to the time off request.
- If you would like to submit an unpaid request, you can use ‘Retail Time Off Unpaid’ following the same process outlined above.
- To select multiple days, each day must be selected individually. You can not drag the days.
- If the time off request is approved, your availability will be blocked as unavailable for 24 hrs after the start time.
Note: 12:00AM should be entered to block availability for that day.
- The ‘Duration’ entered applies to each day that is selected.
Ex. I have selected 7 days and entered 3:00 in my duration. This will use a total of 21 hrs for the 7 days.
- Hours entered into ‘Duration’ must be entered in full hour intervals.
- Hover over the ‘i’ next to the request to review balances.
